Located between Mc Fadden and Brookhurst of Little Saigon, this hidden gem is hard to miss because it's a plaza where there's 7 leaves, US Bank and across the street from Pho 54. Parking can be hassle during peak times. Be warned: there's a security guard by US Bank is patrolling the area if there's an event a Seafood Paradise...directing all cars to park elsewhere. The place has an outdoor dinning area. Reservations is highly recommended for parties of 3 or more. Menu offers variety from appetizers, pasta, chicken and seafood and salad and pizza. Check out the daily specials that posted by the cashier. Soup of the day changes everyday according to the cashier. Portions are huge and complement for the pricing. Offer complimentary homemade garlic bread (olive oil and vinegar are offer through request only) Sodas are fountain. Pizzas are set and toppings can't be substituted unless you create your own pizza.Order the usual of calamari friti and Linguini alla Pescatore (seafoood with pasta) while friends order traditional spaghetti N meatballs and lasagna. Server was informative that lasagna takes at least 20 minutes upon ordering so that's a plus. Calamari fritti is lightly fried so it's not greasy and marinara is freshly homemade. Linguini all pescatore is the most popular seafood entree and I see why because it offers the largest yet single scallop I ever seen. Garlic bread is refillable and it comes out fresh every time (expect to wait for refillls). Overall, highly recommended for giving it a try ”

“ When you know of an Italian restaurant but you haven't gone there for a long time, the answer to " how about a nice birthday dinner", your thoughts are not the chains of Italian fare, but the one that has pleased you for so many years. It is that wonderful feeling as you walk in and every staff member stops and looks at you as if to say "where have you been". Our favorite server Juan Carlos greeted us with a big smile and sat us at a table. Renato's hasn't changed much...the grand piano is ofcourse gone and a big screen TV loops visions of Italy. We noticed a clean restaurant with an up-to-date menu and the blue Mediterranean Sea. We see a packed house and staff wearing dark uniforms and aprons tending at their very best. A glass of Wine is the sweet Moscato and the appetizer of sausage filled baked mushrooms was an interesting start. The lovely missus has the thin angel hair pasta dish and I switched it up a notch and ordered the chicken marsala with a hint of white wine and sliced mushrooms. On the side of this dish is just the right amount of hollow penne pasta in a fragrant tomato base. Our basket of buttery toast is perfect for wiping the plates clean. A big surprise ending to our meal as wait staff brought a three scoop Spumoni ice-cream and a candle on top. It seems like every patron in the house sang that Bday song. A great way to celebrate at Renato's and we need to come back more frequently. ”

“ Truly a hidden gem in Westminster! A small family owned restaurant that serves incredible Italian food. My favorites were the Tuscan pizza add burrata and balsamic vinegar and the Farfalle aurora (pink sauce) with shrimp. Those were amazing!! The truffle pasta was good but those two were the stars of the show. I'd like to try the Rigatoni Renato next time as I imagine that is probably their specialty. Top that off with spumoni ice cream, one of my favorites desserts! I feel like it is pretty hard to find nowadays. Everything was wonderful! I will definitely be back! ”

“ Our office has been ordering the turkey meal from Renato's for Thanksgiving for years. It is surprisingly very good for an Italian restaurant. What we like best is they already de-boned the turkey and put it back together as a full turkey. Amazing! It's always delivered warm, and the cranberry sauce was so delicious warm. I had yo have a few spoons as soon as they delivered. :) ”

“ Wow! I cannot believe this place exists in it's current environment! An awesome Italian food restaurant smack dab in the heart of Little Saigon? This hidden gem, is in a rather unassuming plaza off Brookhurst/McFadden, next to a CVS and Saigon City. I stopped by Renato's for lunch today, and had a great experience. Really cannot believe I've never eaten here before. Juan Carlos cheerfully welcomed me into the restaurant while I grabbed a menu to look over what to order. I opted for the Spaghetti and Meatballs, and a drink. The house bread is complimentary with entree. Food is made to order here - about 15 to 20 minutes from time that I ordered. While I was waiting (I opted to dine in) - countless customers walked in and out - and it seemed like they were regulars. It's always a good sign when you hear the friendly conversations between regular patrons and the staff - indicates that it's more of a neighborhood restaurant (and has that warm, wonderful atmosphere) rather than someplace you go to eat once in a blue moon. The Spaghetti and Meatballs was delicious. The pasta was al dente and there was a good ratio of pasta, sauce and meat. The homemade meatballs were larger than your typical meatballs - and each bite was rich and full of flavor. The house garlic bread - served with the spaghetti was wonderful, and soaked up the sauce for more flavor. Service is top notch. Juan Carlos checked in on me several times during my visit, offering refills on my soda or if I wanted more bread (I kindly refused since I had more than enough food). I did ask him about whether the restaurant would serve "Cioppino" again - since I had noticed photos of it on Yelp. He mentioned it's a special dish that is served on the weekends during the colder months - so I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try that, since it's my favorite Italian/Seafood dish. Parking is easy - it's part of the massive lot shared by CVS and Saigon City, but there are also reserved spots for Renato's patrons upfront. Definitely a new favorite - looking forward to be back to try something else on the menu! ”

“ I came to Renato's on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with my family and I definitely want to come back! The restaurant is located in a large plaza with lots of other stores and restaurants. The servers were all very nice and helpful. There aren't that many tables but a decent amount. I ordered the gnocchi with pink sauce and wow! This was sooo good. The gnocchi was soft and chewed and the sauce complimented it so well. I shared pizza with my sister and the pizza was also really good. Definitely recommend the gnocchi and the special pizza. ”
